  • Ingredients

  • 1/2 Kg Phaliyan (cut them like strips)
  • 1 onions (sliced)
  • 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tomato (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala (SEE garam masala recipe)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tea spoon Paprika/ red chilli
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 potato (cut in cubes)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • A handful of coriander


  • Preparation:

    1. Step 1: Pour Oil in the pan and put onion slices. When onion becomes a bit brown add ginger garlic paste and salt.

    2. Step 2:  After stirring sometime add chopped tomato and potato cubes. Now add red chilli, green chilli plus garam masala. 

    3. Step 3: Then it time to add phaliyan and fry them for around one minute.

    4. Step 4: When the oil becomes separate add half cup water to make phaliyan more tender. Sprinkle coriander on the top and serve it in the dish.
